Installation Guide

In open environments, the bracket installation method is typically preferred, utilizing a spiral ring to secure the instrument firmly. Alternatively, you can create a 60mm diameter circular opening at the top of a tank or lid, insert the instrument, and fasten it robustly with the screw ring from bottom to top. It's vital to ensure that the instrument's probe surface aligns perfectly with the liquid surface being measured. As depicted in the accompanying figure, the probe sends waves that strike the liquid surface and return, with the received signal used to compute the measurement space H. By subtracting this from the instrument's installation height TH, the current liquid level L is determined. The meter's range indicates the maximum measurable distance, thus the installation height TH should be within this range. The instrument's blind zone is a non-measurable area close to the probe, requiring the highest liquid level to exceed this region. For instance, with a blind zone of 0.5m, the highest liquid level must be beyond 0.5m. Given a measuring range of 6 meters and a blind zone of 0.45 meters, the actual maximum liquid level is between 0 and 5.55 meters. The probe's wave propagation is a diffusion process with a directional angle, so careful installation is necessary to avoid striking any pool wall protrusions or channel edges.
