Your Installation Guide

In open environments, our preferred installation method involves using a bracket and securing the instrument with a spiral ring. Alternatively, you can create a 60 mm diameter hole on the tank top or lid, insert the meter, and secure it by tightening the screw ring from below. Ensure the instrument's probe aligns with the liquid surface for optimal results. Illustrated to the right, the probe gauges the liquid level by reflecting off the surface, calculating the space H from the probe to the liquid. Subtracting this from the total installation height TH provides the current level L. The meter's range must exceed the installation height TH, avoiding the instrument's blind zone-a critical area near the probe where measurements are obstructed. Maintain a gap exceeding the blind zone between the highest liquid level and the probe. For instance, with a blind zone of 0.5m, the liquid level must remain above this limit. If the range is 6 meters and the blind zone is 0.45 meters, the maximum level achievable is 0 ~ 5.55 meters. The probe's wave propagation spreads directionally; therefore, careful installation is imperative to prevent interference from pool walls or channel edges.
